The Cold Truth

Yo! Snow Days Gaming is a 3-man hobby-turned-business adventure. Started by Peder Terland, Greg Lehman, and Drew Swarts, we began our foray into game creation when on one cold, Alaskan day we decided to stop breaking so many rules in our D&D game and start writing these game breaks down. We call these jottings The Chronicles of Ter.

We felt there needed to be a game between the complexity of D&D and simplicity of a gridded board game. We wanted to provide someone a less intimidating entry into a fantasy world where things like spells and other species exist. Something you can play for an hour and get a little bit of beat-em-ups and a little bit of story.

We're still fleshing out all of our cockamamie ideas, but at least we're having fun doing it! As part of our next phase of this fleshing out process is giving others the freedom to test and give us feedback on the game. If you've read this far, you might've even done this for us, so we say thanks. If you haven't, I assume you're Greg's Nana. Hi Nana!

Our eventual goal is to get this game produced in some form and then go from there. Whether that be sequels to the story, other games, or just building a like-minded community, we don't know. The good news is that Peder, our story writer, has an imagination that can continue. The bad news is that we'll have to medicate him soon if he keeps coming up with cool off-shots and sequel ideas.
